Ceol Neamh started the 2018 season off strong with an impressive showing at the Celtic Festival of Southern Maryland this past weekend! Led by Teresa Werkheiser, the band competed in the Grade IV Medley competition and finished in 1st place in a very competitive field. The midsection put on an especially impressive performance, helping to secure first place scores in both ensemble and drumming! Ceol Neamh is now hard at work preparing for our next competition at the Colonial Highland Gathering in Fairhill

This past weekend, the Ceol Neamh Pipe Band competed at the Colonial Highland Gathering in Fairhill, MD, placing 2nd overall in a competitive grade 4 event! Congratulations to Drum Major Jason Litz for winning 1st place in the Professional Drum Major Competition! This was also the debut of our grade 5 band! Since 1962 the Scranton parade has grown to become one of the largest St Patricks Day parades in the country!
